Russell Targ: Remote Viewing and SRI
This is a fascinating story – the effect of a think tank like the famed Stanford Research Institute on government projects and experiments that were started back in the late 1960’s. The effects could be shown to be unbelievable.
One of those who proved to be a major force in the SRI projects is Dr. Russell Targ, who is today most known for his influence and development of remote viewing. A pretty good introduction to the man and the subject can be found with this video.
Also, check out Dr. Targ’s website dedicated to remote viewing to follow up and get a look at some of the literature out there on the subject.
An even better way to get started learning about the subject of remote viewing (RV) is to pick up one of his books, like The Limitless Mind. This book discusses RV but also helps illustrate, plainly, the concept of “nonlocality” or “non-localized awareness”.
