The scope of this site is quite broad. This is actually more of a reflection of my thoughts and interests than a site dedicated to a specific project or theme. I am not trying to create a movement, so there is no underlining agenda.

I take that back – I do have an agenda, to help people find topics of interest and begin to think for themselves. In summary, think for  yourself and question everything.

As for my thoughts, I reluctantly take on definition as to define oneself is to limit oneself, however, I do understand that some may be curious and would feel more comfortable knowing the general tendencies of my views – so, here they are as best as I can define them myself.

Economically, I find that I tend to subscribe to the so-called “Austrian school“.

Politically, I define myself as a Libertarian as I believe ultimate authority, or sovereignty, should lay with the individual. In fact, I was trying to develop a site dedicated to a more fundamental and conservative interpretation of the Constitution.

I don’t consider myself religious but prefer the term “spiritual” as I was raised Catholic, but found nuggets of wisdom in all major (and minor) religious. In fact, as a classicist, I studied Latin and ancient Greek in order to perform a more exact study of ancient religious and philosophical thought. So, that is truly where my concepts concerning matters of the spirit or the soul spring from.

As for overhauling the site – I needed the upgrade. But stay tuned for more later.
