These are some of sites that I find of great interest for developing understanding about the ancient practice of shamanism and learning the techniques.

Beginning the Study of Shamanism

Some basics for practicing Shamanism – start practicing meditation. Begin by learning to seek stillness and quieting your mind. There are tools to help you obtain an altered state of consciousness, as this is the vehicle by which shamans have communicated. This communication, this interaction, is usually carried out between the shaman practitioner and his divine counterparts.
